REGIONAL

• Raise awareness and appreciation of the Thousand Islands Region to a level comparable to that of the Adirondacks and the Muskokas.
• Forge partnerships with Federal and Provincial Ministries and NGO's to deliver public programming relevant to the MDC's themes in a more dynamic form.

Municipal

• Act as a catalyst in the formation of a local campus of attractions within Brockville's islands and historic downtown waterfront and stage events (in keeping with our themes) that result in a regionally significant tourism destination.
• Ultimately raise the awareness of Brockville as a tourism destination to a level comparable to that of Niagra-on-the-Lake
• Provide a distinctive venue in partnership with Tall Ships Landing that will attract the highest caliber and greatest number of special events, conferences, and banquets.
